Alumni Delegation: Iceland 2026

Overview

The Students on Ice (SOI) Foundation is bringing a delegation of Indigenous and Northern youth leaders to the 2026 Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavík, Iceland. Supported by Global Affairs Canada, this delegation brings vital lived experience and traditional knowledge from across Canada’s North into the world’s largest gathering on Arctic affairs.

Rather than just observing, SOI delegates will take the stage as speakers, panel co-organizers, and policy contributors – leading dialogues on early-career polar engagement, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and Indigenous governance.
