YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO OVERCOME THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

• Manage a portfolio of technical projects in support of the activities of the Shipbuilding and Repair unit.
• Ensure the delivery of technical deliverables while respecting schedule deadlines, cost control and quality.
• Review technical quotes from clients related to the construction or repair of ships and barges and prepare plans for the project, if necessary.
• Create and track project schedules to meet requirements.
• Oversee collaboration with naval architecture firms, classification societies and suppliers to ensure delivery of deliverables according to schedule and contractual expectations.
• Work closely with colleagues on the technical team and functional teams to resolve issues and prioritize activities.
• Evaluate the business impacts of technical changes and prioritize them.
• Participate in and support the activities planned under the health, safety and environment management system.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE POSSESSES:

• Currently pursuing a university degree in administration, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in this or a similar role is an asset.
• Knowledge of Word (intermediate), Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint (intermediate)
• Knowledge of SAP and/or MS Project is an asset
• Having a sense of priorities and good leadership
• Demonstrate planning skills
• Languages: Advanced level in French and intermediate level in English, both spoken and written.
