Overview
We are actively seeking an engineering project intern to support the planning of activities for the technical design department and to participate in the management of technical work packages for construction projects as well as major ship renovation projects.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO OVERCOME THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:
- Manage a portfolio of technical projects in support of the activities of the Shipbuilding and Repair unit.
- Ensure the delivery of technical deliverables while respecting schedule deadlines, cost control and quality.
- Review technical quotes from clients related to the construction or repair of ships and barges and prepare plans for the project, if necessary.
- Create and track project schedules to meet requirements.
- Oversee collaboration with naval architecture firms, classification societies and suppliers to ensure delivery of deliverables according to schedule and contractual expectations.
- Work closely with colleagues on the technical team and functional teams to resolve issues and prioritize activities.
- Evaluate the business impacts of technical changes and prioritize them.
- Participate in and support the activities planned under the health, safety and environment management system.
OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE POSSESSES:
- Currently pursuing a university degree in administration, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in this or a similar role is an asset.
- Knowledge of Word (intermediate), Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint (intermediate)
- Knowledge of SAP and/or MS Project is an asset
- Having a sense of priorities and good leadership
- Demonstrate planning skills
- Languages: Advanced level in French and intermediate level in English, both spoken and written.
