Operational Requirements

• Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety goggles, safety boots, hearing protection, etc.)

You need (essential for the job)

• Currently enrolled or will be enrolled by the date of appointment in a Master’s or PhD program at a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.

Experience:

• Experience in plasma or microwave systems and operations.
• Experience using engineering simulation software packages such as Aspen, Comsol, Matlab, etc.

• Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Asset Experience:

• Experience in data analysis and material characterization (SEM, XRD, Raman).
• Experience in gas handling and control systems
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.

• Knowledge on carbon formation mechanisms and graphitization processes.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of reaction engineering and plasma physics.
