We encourage every participant to carefully read through these COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. Together, we can ensure a safe and successful expedition experience.

Please note that these guidelines are subject to change at any time, due to the ever-evolving public health policies and recommendations with COVID-19. We will alert all participants if there is a change.

Welcome to The Hub! This will be your main place for information on this expedition – a virtual base camp of sorts. Be sure to check back here frequently for updates with your orientation package, registration, additional fun links, and so much more!

This pre-learning package is an opportunity to learn about some of the bigger concepts that we will cover on the expedition, we introduce some of the areas we will be traveling to, as well as some of the wildlife that we may be spotting on the ship, in zodiacs and while on shore.
Remember: There are some fun facts scattered throughout the document.  We will use these for some fun challenges while on the ship!

Orientation Package

Your Orientation Package is your guide to preparing for the expedition program! You will find information about our itinerary, our ship, arrivals and departures (flight bookings), the packing list, insurance, your checklist of to-do’s, and more! Please refer to this document frequently. If your questions are not answered, please reach out to us at apply@soifoundation.org.

Registration

This mandatory step will prepare you for the program. We will collect health and safety information, travel information, consent to participate, and uploaded documents. Please review this document carefully (if you are under 18, review with a parent or guardian.)
