Overview
The annual Innu Nation Uinipekᵘ Expedition is a collaborative ocean science initiative led by Innu Nation, in partnership with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Students on Ice Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, and Parks Canada. The Expedition brings together the knowledge of Innu leaders, Guardians, Innu Nation Environment and Innu Parks staff, ocean science researchers and technologists, and educators to build a comprehensive understanding of the Innu Marine Zones while equipping young Innu with skills to pursue careers in land and marine stewardship.
